Open Air Mesh Upper In the upper is a seamless, highly breathable, fast-drying, open air mesh that allows air to fully permeate the entire upper of the shoe to ensure a healthy climate within the running shoes. An asymmetrical lacing system and midfoot welded support straps work in unison to achieve a snug-like fit, wrapping your foot in extreme comfort, whilst a minimal heel counter helps to lock the foot in place for a better feel and to prevent any loose/unnecessary movement within the shoe itself. Action/Reaction Technology Midsole The secret sauce powering the speed of Newton running shoes is its proprietary Action/Reaction Technology. Generated by the active movement of the lugs, Action/Reaction Technology created a responsive, trampoline-like cushioning system that provides quicker bound-back and loses less energy than a traditional foam core running shoe.
