Rebecca Brent has issues and her brother Nicholas becoming a girl doesn’t help things.
When Nicole comes out, her family is very accepting but Becky feels threatened by her new sister. She does everything possible to snub her sister, hurting her in the process.
This portrait of an unusual family is the touching story of how one girl deals with having a transgendered sibling, the struggles they share, how they find common ground and learn to love one another again.
I enjoyed this story mainly because it was creatively told from the point of view of her sister, with exerts of flashback and sections of Nicole's diary.

How should I put this?: This is a very emotional story on the life of Nicole who was born a boy but with a girl soul. Be prepared to shed some tears for Nicole. This story will bring you through the childhood, schools, friendships, traumatic events, love, despair and more. This story emphasized the important of family support and understanding for a child especially a special child like Nicole. In my opinion, it was beautifully written and I recommend "A must read for those who support LOVE and Compassion". For parents or parent- to be, this is a good story to learn about unconditional love for your own child. Peace :)"
