All Nuvo Iron gate inserts can be installed at any thickness of gate.
Separate the front and back accent insert by turning in a counter-clockwise motion. Then, place the front of the insert into the one side of the opening and the back of the insert into the opening on the opposite side and fasten together by turning in a clockwise motion and tighten.
Screws attached to the product will fit the board / gate with a thickness of minimum 5/8" to 1" max.
However, in the case of thicker dimensions of the gate, You should yourself obtain the matching your needs the dimensions of screws.
