HOW DOES THE O RING MEASURING TOOL WORK? Easy. Determine the thickness by inserting the o ring into the bottom slots to find the best slot size. Using your finger as your guide, take the o ring out of the slot and place your finger on the correct slot size while also placing the o ring on the cone. As you are pulling the o ring downward, guide the finger you placed on the correct-sized slot upwards and meet both the o ring and your finger at the correct measurement when the inside diameter of the o ring can no longer go past another gauge.
