Zippo Lighter Fluid
The flint and steel fire starter can be used to light a variety of things such as fire pits, fire place, candles, bonfires, kindling, wood, logs, coal, charcoal, maya dust, tinder, lanterns, propane stoves, oil lamps, bunsen burners. You can use it indoors for kitchen cooking and has no smoke when lit. It has a magnesium flint rod and is a good flint and steel fire starter. Each match case is 1.15 x 1.5 x .45 inches and weighs 0.6 oz.
🔥Directions: Fill the container with lighter fuel no more than 3/4 full. To strike, position the flat end of the steel striker at a 45° angle at the bottom of the flint rod on the side of the container. Apply heavy pressure to the match and scrape upwards along the flint rod.
There is an adjustment period at first strike so use it more to learn how to create a spark with each strike. Do not shake the container when striking. Keep the hand holding the container steady when striking to prevent fuel from spilling out. The flame lasts for about 5 seconds before it starts to burn the wick. At that point the match needs to be re-soaked in more fuel. The cotton wick will not burn as long as there is enough fuel on the wick. Re-soak the wick in more fuel if it starts to burn.
âš ï¸ Note: Keep container right side up during striking process to avoid spilling light fluid out. Can cause hazard if used improperly.
âš ï¸ Note:
Please keep away from Kids. 🔞 THIS IS NOT A TOY. Be sure to purchase Zippo or Ronson lighter fluid (light petroleum distillate fuel) or kerosene to fill the canister. Fuel is sold separately.
