Willie Hutch recorded extensively for Motown during the 70's and 80's, 'Ode to My Lady' his fourth for the label, and recorded in 1975 - just after his Blaxploitation classic 'Foxy Brown' soundtrack. It's considered his best album and features the two-stepper 'Love Me Back' and hit American singles 'Party Down' and 'Love Power'. Willie was a singer, songwriter, arranger and producer who left behind an astonishing body of work following his passing in 2005. His co-writing credits include 'I'll Be There' for the Jackson 5 and worked on two further movie soundtracks 'The Mack' and 'The Last Dragon' in additional to his now highly sought after albums for RCA, Motown and Whitfield.
