Everything is falling apart. Sand Hill is closing. All Emily’s friends are moving to Fox Run, the rival barn where Jess and all the rich, entitled girls ride. And to make matters a million times worse, the father she hasn’t seen or heard from in nine years is back. He wants to start over. He thinks he can make things right again but all Emily can think is that she’s buried her love for the man who thinks he can be a dad again and he’s going to have to work really hard to get it back.
And Emily’s not the only one who isn’t happy to see him. Not by a long shot.
So with both her parents butting horns and her mother’s threat to move the family now a real one, Emily will have to make a choice. Leave her friends behind and take Bluebird to Wisconsin to start over with the blended family she hates? Or stay behind with the trainer father she doesn’t even know and try to work things out?
