His children help him cut the slats used to create these rustic items. The crate wood is made from Poplar trees that are cut into rough sawn boards at a local owned Amish sawmill. They are made in a Set of 3 boxes / crates; Large - 19" x 12 1/2" x 10 1/2", Medium - 15" x 11" x 8 1/2", Small - 11" x 9" x 6 1/2". The crates conveniently interlock with each other when not in use.
