This premiere solo recording of the Julia Irene Kauffman Casavant Organ, Opus 3875, at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, was designed to showcase all the colors and nuances of this outstanding new instrument, and includes the world premiere recording of an important piece by beloved organ composer Florent Schmitt. Jan Kraybill is Organ Conservator at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and regularly plays and oversees the care of the three largest pipe organs in the Kansas City metro area.
