American industrial/thrash metal band Static-X made a huge mark in their genre with the release of their debut, Wisconsin Death Trip (1999), followed by the Gold Certified Machine (2001) that charted the highest of all the band's albums. Their third album, Shadow Zone, saw the band move their sound towards a more mainstream and melodic approach and they continued this change of style into 2005's Start A War, that contained the successful track ‘I'm The One.' Finishing off this collection is the 2007 album Cannibal that saw a return to the band's earlier sound by trying to recreate the success of their first album.
