This loose leaf tea blend is specially crafted for kombucha brewing. Our Original Kombucha Tea Blend delivers a smooth, medium body, combining the citrusy notes of Single Estate Ceylon Black and the smoky, earthy tones of Wuyi Oolong. It's traditional kombucha straight up-offering a clean and delicious brew on its own or the perfect base for future flavoring during second fermentation.
Our Original flavor is the loose leaf tea base used for all of our kombucha cultures and is the tea that comes in our home brewing kits. Think of it as your go-to recipe for making great tasting, classic kombucha.

Directions:
Use 3 TBSP of this tea blend to make 1 gallon of Kombucha. Bring water to a boil and turn off. Add tea and steep for 5 - 7 minutes. Remove tea and proceed with standard kombucha brewing instructions. Tea blends come in bag sized to brew enough for 10 gallons of Kombucha
