The Original ThriftyVacÂ® Regular-size Mason Jar Vacuum Lids 5-Pack without Vacuum Pump, is ideal for vacuum packing liquids such as soups, stews, sauces, and chili in your refrigerator. Vacuum-packed Mason jars can also store other foods in your refrigerator, such as meats and vegetables. The Vacuum Lid lets you quickly vacuum pack your food, and quickly release the vacuum without damaging the metal lid, or hurting your fingers. You release the vacuum by pressing on the side of the Check Valve mounted on the center of the Vacuum Lid. The Original Vacuum Lids are available in both Regular and Wide-Mouth sizes, and are sold in packs of five. Check Valves are pre-installed in their centers. A Vacuum Hose Adapter is sold separately. The Regular size and Wide-mouth size Mason Jar Vacuum Lids fit jar mouth diameters of 2.5 inches and 3.375 inches, respectively. All ThriftyVacÂ® Vacuum Lids are BPA-free.
