Over The Yearsâ€¦ highlights songs from the iconic CSN debut album (â€œMarrakesh Expressâ€) and its successor album DÃ©jÃ Vu, for which Neil Young joined forces with CSN (â€œOur Houseâ€ and â€œTeach Your Childrenâ€) as well as songs from subsequent CSN albums (â€œJust A Song Before I Goâ€ and â€œWasted On The Wayâ€). In addition, the collection highlights songs that Nash recorded for his 1971 solo debut, Songs For Beginners, including â€œMilitary Madnessâ€ and â€œSimple Man,â€ and includes unreleased mixes for two other songs from that album: â€œBetter Daysâ€ and â€œI Used To Be King.â€ The most recent recording on the compilation is â€œMyself At Lastâ€ from Nashâ€™s 2016 solo album This Path Tonight.

Includes 15 demo recordings, 12 of which have never been released. Standouts include the 1968 London demo of â€œMarrakesh Express,â€ rejected by the Hollies and setting the stage for Nashâ€™s relocation to Los Angeles and the next chapter of his life. The set contains early versions of CSN classics like â€œOur House,â€ â€œWasted On The Way,â€ â€œPre-Road Downs,â€ and â€œTeach Your Children.â€ Other unreleased gems include: â€œI Miss Youâ€ and â€œYouâ€™ll Never Be The Sameâ€ â€” both from Nashâ€™s 1974 solo album Wild Tales â€” and â€œHorses Through A Rainstorm,â€ originally intended for DÃ©jÃ Vu.
