The Panduit CT-1700 contour crimp controlled cycle tool makes use of a full-cycle ratchet mechanism to ensure proper crimp force on a range of copper and aluminum terminals, taps, and splices. This tool is made of steel with a black oxide finish, and is equipped with a permanent, five-position, color-coded rotating die that accommodates many conductor and connector combinations.
