I designed the new Pangea Audio outlets from the ground up [pun intended!] to be superior in every way to standard outlets to make sure you get the best performance possible from your sensitive electronics." "Another problem with standard AC wall receptacles is that they use a cheap nylon as an insulator in the outlets," Jay explains. "From my years developing components for X-Ray equipment, I knew of an advanced polymer which has a much lower dielectric constant, making it a far better insulator. It also has a much higher voltage standoff. In fact, I've used it in X-Ray cable connectors that had to handle 250,000 volts."
