When a special bequest allows Winthrop College to set up special dorms with rules more appropriate to the early â€˜50s than 1974, it is not surprising that the girlsâ€™ dorm is inhabited by coeds whose parents believe in strict discipline, including a few who feel that college age is no barrier to hard, panties down spankings over their mothersâ€™ knee, for errant daughters.

The dean is impressed by the success of this method, and writes letters to all of the girlsâ€™ parents stressing the effectiveness of bare bottom spankings in correcting the behavior of college girls.

Many of the parents are convinced and soon virtually all of the girls know that a bad report from the college will ensure a painful and embarrassing experience when they return home.
