Passing the Patent Bar - A Basic Study Guide provides the reader will nearly all the information which will be required to pass the United States Patent and Trademark Office's Registration Exam (The Patent Bar Exam). This exam allows a person to become either a Patent Attorney or a Patent Agent depending on their previous education. The book includes a general overview of the patent system along with a overview of the test and the different references used for passing the exam which includes 35 U.S.C., 37 C.F.R., MPEP and Supplemental Materials. In addition to this initial overview a more in-depth review of the essentials of patent law are covered which should be extremely well understood to pass the exam. After the initial overview is completed along with a review of the basics, the book then focuses heavily on the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (The MPEP). It's topics are discussed in the Applications, Procedures and Everything Else chapters of the book. Finally, this book reviews supplemental materials and the America Invents Act which are also included on the Patent Bar Exam.
