Pearl Harbor and Beyond: An Account of Treachery and Treason
If you are looking for a book that details the attack on Pearl Harbor, this book will not meet your need.
The main theme of the book is to lay bare the treacherous conspiracy between Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt and their objective to get the Japanese to “fire the first shot†that would be cause for the U.S. to respond, and thereby enter the war in Europe, which more than 80 percent of the American people opposed. The facts are incontrovertible and the author has taken great pains to ensure that the reader will be able to follow the twists and turns that Roosevelt and his highest naval and military commanders willingly embarked upon with no regard for loss of life of their countrymen.
This book does not seek to minimize or excuse the Japanese decision to attack Pearl Harbor.
It becomes clear that Roosevelt was willing to sacrifice thousands of American lives and a large part of the U.S. Pacific fleet in order to satisfy his paranoid desire to commit U.S. Armed Forces to the war in Europe, and appease his long-held hatred of all things German. Had the American people been able to learn this truth about the machinations of their President, it is doubtful that America would ever have become embroiled in WWII, and it is certain that the cause of the New World Order would not have been served.
