Penn State Industries PKTINT3 Multi-Function #2MT Pen Kit Tube Insertion Tool (7mm to 15mm)
- Simplify inserting your glued up pen tubes into your blanks; Keeps your fingers clean and safe from residual glue
- Tapered, chrome plated, glue resistant tool compatible with tubes from 7mm to 15mm in diameter; #2 Morse Taper end so that you can either mount on your lathe, or grip with your hand
- Mount it into your lathe's #2 Morse Taper headstock, slide on the pen tube, then turn on the lathe to quickly and conveniently sand, glue, or paint the tube; Use it on or off the lathe to insert your glued up brass tube into your drilled pen blank
- For gluing, place your pen tube over the end of the tool; Cover the entire surface of the tube with the glue of your choice; Slide the tube inside your pen blank with a twisting motion while still on the tool; Slowly release the tool from inside the blank, making sure the tube is centered; Allow your work to dry and cure properly
- More Tube Insertion Tools are available without the #2MT end: PKTINT is compatible with tubes 7mm to 11mm diameter; PKTINT2 is compatible with tubes 7mm to 15mm diameter
