Peppermint is best known for its cooling properties. Peppermint hydrosol makes a lovely facial mist when dealing with heat or even those hormonal changes that cause temperature fluctuations. Mist the skin liberally and feel instantly cooler. Peppermint hydrosol is also very nice when added as the water portion of a foot balm recipe or mist on weary feet at the end of a long day!
