Pet travel

This short story can be seen as a continuation of another story of mine â€œPet adventuresâ€. Alternatively, it can be read as a standalone piece.

The story begins with the short narrative explaining how Paul became a dog slave. His owner Christine humiliates him in any possible way. Obsessed with her, Paul doesnâ€™t have any other choice, but to comply with Christineâ€™s orders.

Christine is determined to visit her mother. She takes her dog slave with her, and drives all the way to Texas. Unfortunately, the trip doesnâ€™t go smoothly as planned. During the long ride they stop at different places, in order to rest. At the very first stop, Christine already has to deal with dogâ€™s misbehavior. At another stop, the absence of water prompts a creative solution. Near the end of their journey, the car is stopped for the police checkup.
The plot continues when they finally reach their destination. Christineâ€™s mom is not thrilled at all about her new possession. Any explanations from Christineâ€™s side are not helpful and result in an angry fight. Confused and devastated, Christine blames her dog for everything and severely punishes him.

The story ends when Christine admits her mistake. She tries to make up with her slave and shows him her gratitude. She even tells him some astounding words, which trigger his imagination.
