Half of the popular duo of Bebo & Cigala, the great flamenco singer's 5th solo album includes the guitars of Paco de Lucía, Tomatito, Raimundo Amador, Josemi Carmona, Diego Morao, Manuel Parrilla & Paquete. Other guests include trumpeter Jerry González, Ramón El Portugués, Yumitus, Porrina, Juañares and El Piraña. The lyrics were written by contemporary poets as well as contemporaries of Picasso himself: Rafael Alberti, Javier Ruibal, Javier Krahe, Carlos Chaouen and Juan Antonio Salazar. Artistic spirits merge throughout, starting with "Chanelando", tangos with guitar playing by Diego el Morao and Manuel Parrilla. De Lucia's & El Cigala's voice evoke heaven on "Por los ríos" (bulerías"); the famous poem "La Paloma" by R. Alberti is set to music by Josemi Carmona. The album also has the soleá ("Acuarela", lyrics by Chaouen), alegrías and mirabrás ("Malagueño", lyrics by Javier Rubial), the Latin rumba with Raimundo Amador's guitar playing ("Apenao") and tangos ("Guernika").
