Pill Pod is a keyless prescription drug lock box for securing medications and a deterrent to help prevent Rx drug abuse from initiating. Few people keep count of their medications, and pills can easily go missing. Pill Pod is a simple and affordable solution that can help prevent someone from making an initial bad decision to freely reach into a medicine cabinet and experiment with Rx drugs. It can deter routine theft over time. Redesigned, it now accepts larger bottles - up to 2-1/4" diameter and can secure up to a maximum of eight small bottles when stacked inside. It can accept some taller liquid medication bottles as well as insulin and supplies and may be refrigerated. Please check and measure your bottle sizes prior to purchase. Each Pill Pod comes with a randomly preassigned 4 digit locking combination which is fixed and not changeable - no set up is required and it comes ready to use. Large, easily viewed numbers are on tumblers that freely rotate - important for those with vision impairment or an arthritic condition. Pill Pod is constructed from thicker impact resistant ABS plastic. It has been engineered for strength and tamper resistance with a patented keyless locking tumbler design using pick resistant features. It is durable and provides greater security and tamper resistance than other comparably priced medication security products. The compact size makes it convenient to take when traveling and fits within standard four inch depth medicine cabinets. Pill Pod is intended to be used as a deterrent in situations where no known drug abuse or theft problem exists. It is not intended to take the place of a high security floor mounted steel safe. Note that there are no mounting features and that the entire device -including drugs held within - could potentially be stolen. Pill Pod should never be used with any medications or supplies that might require quick access to in a medical emergency.
