Made from beautiful red oak wood, this plaque is the perfect low cost option for hanging and proudly displaying your scout's Arrow of Light Award. Crafted with raised edges on the face and rounded sides. It's easy to assemble and takes just a few minutes. First, smooth out any rough edges using the small piece of sandpaper included. Next, using just your hands (no tools required), turn the 2 brass hooks into the pre-drilled holes. Finally, using a screw or nail (nail included), hang from the slot which we have routered into the back of the plaque. Optional: While the plaque looks great "as is", some scouts choose to stain or varnish the wood. There's also space for an engraved plate which you can have made at your local trophy store if you'd like to add your scout's name and the date of your award ceremony. Note: the brass hooks included with this plaque are the perfect size to hold the dowel included in our Arrow of Light Kit. If you are purchasing plaques for arrows you have already created, be sure that your arrow shafts are 7/16" in diameter or smaller. Color and wood grain may vary slightly from photo. Arrow NOT included.
