The 4pack of PoolRx Boosters is just that. 4 individual Boosters, each supports 7,500 -20,000 gallons. The Booster is used to replace minerals after 4-6 months. It is also used to increase the amount of minerals for pools larger than 20,000 gallons. The PoolRx Booster Minerals are the same minerals that are packed inside of the PoolRx Blue Unit (see part#101001). Add the Booster if it's been 4-6 months and you notice any hint of algae or your chlorine demand is going back up. Simply clean your filter first, then, pour the contents of the PoolRx Booster into the pump basket or skimmer. (Note: you do not need to put the minerals back inside of the PoolRx unit.) The minerals will dissolve immediately and completely to form a stable residual throughout the water. The minerals eliminate the algae while freeing up low levels of chlorine to be more active and productive in the water. During the pools filtration process the minerals are rejuvenated every time they return and pass through the cylinder, so be sure to leave the original PoolRx unit in the Pump basket so the Booster minerals can be rejuvenated. (Note; the PoolRx Unit is only effective in rejuvenating minerals for up to 1 year in water and needs to be replaced at the beginning of every season). PoolRx works synergistically with a constant low level of chlorine. Residential (0.5-1.0ppm); Commercial (1.0-5.5ppm) PoolRx has been simplifying pool and spa care since 1994 and can support any size body of water. PoolRx is also ideal as a Green to Clear solution and works great with Salt Pools too.
