ASSEMBLY TIPS: Getting a good seal between the glass panes, rubber gaskets, and black body is the key to infusion success. Each Porthole box comes with easy to follow assembly instructions. We highly recommend watching a Porthole Assembly video and practicing with water before your first infusion. THE PORTHOLE STORY: Award winning designer, Martin Kastner of Crucial Detail, created the Porthole as a custom piece for the innovative bar chefs at The Aviary in Chicago, IL. Enthusiastic guest requests for a retail version led to a very successful Kickstarter campaign. Since its release, the Porthole has been featured in dozens of magazines, news articles and blogs, and continues to be a favorite item for home, restaurant and bar service.

BEAUTIFUL PRESENTATION: The Porthole acts as a window into the world of any infusion. Full glass panes on both sides offer the opportunity to completely view each element as colors and ingredients change.
