This Posi Lock TJ-2 manual transmission bearing puller has three jaws for equal load distribution, secure hold, and concentric pulling action, and is suitable for extracting shaft-fitted transmission bearings. Its jaws are made of forged steel for increased strength over investment casting, and are tapered for better access in tight spaces. They can fit into a bearing's snap ring groove as narrow as 0.07". This puller has a 5.25" (133 mm) reach and a spread range of 1 to 6.75 inches (25 to 171 mm) for increased pulling leverage, and it comes with a tip protector to prevent the tip of the center bolt from mushrooming and provide increased leverage for pulling operations. This manual transmission bearing puller is suitable for extracting shaft-fitted bearings in the automotive industry.

Gear and bearing pullers are tools designed to remove mechanical, press-fit parts, such as bearings, bushings, gears, and pulleys, from a shaft, or to remove a shaft from inside a hole.
