- Greater stability, changes in humidity and the resulting moisture absorption often means a matching problem with ordinary V-belts
- Higher strength, stronger V-belts can withstand more shock loading and need less maintenance; Polyester is approximately 40% or more stronger than the conventional fibers used in V-belts
- Stretch resistance, polyester is inherently stretch resistance, and the cords are put though a special heat and tensioning process to further minimize stretch; Thus, V-belts reinforced with polyester show comparatively little growth even after many months of continued operation
- Powerflite V-Belts are oil and heat resistant and static conductive
