Practice Test for the CogAT - Levels 13/14 (Form 7)
The Cognitive Abilities TestTM (CogAT®) is designed to evaluate the level and pattern of the cognitive development of students in grades K through 12. Schools may use these scores to establish instructional objectives for each grade or to identify students who may belong in Gifted and Talented programs. Since the primary purpose of the CogAT® is to provide a description of the mental abilities of a student, several reasoning tests appraise a student's general and specific cognitive skills using verbal, quantitative and nonverbal tasks.
The objective of the Bright KidsTM Practice Test for the CogAT® - Levels 13/14 (Form 7) is to familiarize a student with the type of questions there will be on the actual test. This practice test contains nine subtests: Verbal Analogies, Sentence Completion, Verbal Classification, Number Analogies, Number Puzzles, Number Series, Figure Matrices, Paper Folding, and Figure Classification. This full-length practice test contains 176 questions and an answer key.
