CogAT® Form 7 was released by Riverside Publishing in 2011 and includes new test areas.

Practice test 2 of 2. Level 8 is the Primary Ed. and is one version given to children in second grade*. Second graders can take either the Primary Ed. (Level 8) or Multilevel Ed. (Level 9) of the CogAT Form 7 exam check with your school.

There are nine test areas across three cognitive areas found on the CogAT® Form 7 exam:

The object of this practice test is to familiarize your child with the type of questions they will face on test day, how the tests are formatted, the symbols used and the number of questions in in each test area. However, since this practice test has not been standardized with Riverside Publishing and the actual CogAT® exam, a valid CogAT® score cannot be concluded from their results on this practice test.
