Robert Blair & The Fantastic Violinaires have had one of the longest and finest careers in Gospel music history. Originally released in 1993 this album features the classic Violinaires lineup in full force, and contains several fan favorites including the title track "Praise Him" and "Somebody Touched Me." In addition to group leader Robert Blair's powerful voice, long time partners Charlie Brown and Isaiah "Lil Shot" Jones each take their turn on lead vocals, including a duet with Robert Blair and Charlie Brown on "It'll All Be Over." Each bring their own amazing and unique vocal talents to the project, and between them create that classic sound The Fantastic Violinaires are known and loved for.
A founding member of The Fantastic Violinaires, Isaiah "Lil Shot" Jones passed away in 1998. In 2001 Robert Blair himself would follow his friend in going home to be with The Lord. Charlie Brown, the last of the three lead vocalists that helped to propel The Fantastic Violinaires to international fame passed away in 2013. Although all three of these legendary singers have moved on, their musical legacy and devotion to spreading the Gospel shall never be forgotten.
