Freeze-dried, high quality pet food. Made from fresh, human-grade ingredients. Just add water to make this complete Formulated to be similar to the dog's diet in the wild. This grain-free diet is appropriate for pets with food sensitives. Unique formulation provides balanced nutrition with added vitamins and minerals. Species: Dogs of all ages Specifications: Store in a cool, dry place with package sealed. Once rehydrated, freeze-dried formula will maintain freshness for 3 to 5 days in refrigeration. Best to feed in stainless steel bowls. Wash all work surfaces, utensils, hands and food bowls with hot, soapy water after handling freeze-dried meats and poultry. Keep away from children. Instructions: Because of the importance of moisture in a raw diet, Primal recommends rehydrating this product with water or Primal Raw Goat Milk for optimum nutrition absorption. To rehydrate, add 1 tablespoon water or Raw Goat Milk for every nugget, or 1/4 cup for 4 nuggets. For best rehydrating results, break nuggets into small pieces and mix thoroughly to force moisture into the product. Adult dogs: Divide total daily feeding portion into 2 meals. Puppies and pregnant or lactating females: Divide total daily feeding portion into 3 to 4 meals. Feed adult dogs the equivalent of 2 to 3% of their bodyweight in rehydrated food per day. When introducing a raw diet, transition slowly (7 to 10 days). Begin by mixing 1/4 part freeze-dried to 3/4 part current diet. Gradually increase amount of freeze-dried daily. Use the feeding chart below as a guideline, each dog may have different caloric needs depending on age, breed and activity level. Adjust as necessary.
