- Note: these locks are for use on sliding patio doors and windows whose metal fins measure 1/4 inch or thinner
- Each lock features a pair of counter thumb turn fasteners for adding a strong, sure hold
- Heavy-duty cast-metal construction with tamper-resistant double thumb turn screws
- This high security sliding patio door and window lock comes in a white-painted finish
- Used on vertical and horizontal sliding windows as a secondary window lock

This sliding window lock is constructed of extruded aluminum with double steel thumbscrews, and it comes in a white painted finish. The design of this lock is manufactured to fit on older style, metal framed windows â€“ usually of single pane glass. The overall width of this window lock measures 2 in. wide. For vinyl windows consider using Prime-Line model numbers U-9809 or U-10547. Once the lock has been mounted and hand-tightened, finish by tightening thumbscrew with pliers to securely lock windows in closed or ventilating positions. These locks are easy to install and are used by many to increase the security of their home.
