"What would a worthwhile happiness project even look like?"
As Randy Taran began having concerns about the authentic happiness within her family, this question burned in her mind. Having a background in film, she decided to produce a documentary, which brought young people from three continents together to get some answers from icons such as George Lucas (filmmaker and educational activist), Richard Gere (actor and humanitarian) and Richard Davidson (world renowned neuroscientist). The ultimate interview would take place in India, at a private audience with Nobel Peace Prize winner, the Dalai Lama.
After the release of the award-winning documentary, the Project Happiness Film, Randy Taran and Maria Lineger, inspired by that journey as well as the exciting research from the Science of Happiness, created this book, called The Project Happiness Handbook.
Beautifully illustrated in full color, this 195 page experiential book, suited for teens and adults alike, engages you in activities and questions to make you go deeper, know yourself better, and awaken to your true potential.
