Pure Maple Sugar - 48 Oz - A&A Maple
The secret to making our fine sugar is to make it in small batches, by hand, using only the highest quality syrup. It only makes sense that using the best quality syrup yields the best sugar.
Many of the other Maple Syrup producers turn their low grade (industrial grade) syrup into what we consider sub-par sugar. Do not be fooled, demand Maple Sugar made only from Grade A Syrup ("table" grades).
Maple Sugar has a nearly unlimited shelf life if you keep it from getting wet. Our Maple Sugar is used in a dry rub and sauce at a Bar-B-Q restaurant (it works fantastic for dry rub or glaze for meats!). Also it is great sprinkled on cereal, buttered toast, fresh fruit, roasted vegetables, or your favorite baked goods. A superb substitute for brown and white sugar in apple pie and pecan pie (substitute walnuts for pecans for my new favorite pie). Use in your whipped cream or frosting. Nice in coffee or tea, and pretty much an all-around substitute for granulated sugar. You can even add water to turn it back into Maple Syrup. In the days of early America much of the Maple Syrup was sold as granulated sugar (for ease of storage and transporting) and then re-constituted as needed to make syrup.
Why use chemically processed sugars, when you can have an all-natural product that has been enjoyed for almost 300 years.
Notes: At A&A Maple we use sustainable farming processes. We guarantee no fertilizers or chemicals will be used in our woods. While we do not pay to be certified organic, I believe our product would qualify. We don't see the reason to add costs to you for what is inherently a pure, all natural product. Proud to be Made In Maine, USA.
