- Wave length: 520 nm. Laser power output: Class I – less than 0.39mW. (Update 2/25/2021 - The laser output (the brightness) is exactly the same as before. The reason why the Laser Class is changed now is that, according to the latest IEC 60825-1 regulations, the output is measured by 7mm aperature stop at the position of 10cm. Therefore, you see that its Class is changed from "Class II" to "Class I" now, even though the brightness is exactly the same as before.)

Direct Green Lasers are direct-diode semiconductor lasers. The stability of the laser output is greatly improved.

Most green laser modules on the market are DPSS (diode pumped solid state) laser modules. DPSS (Diode-Pumped Solid State) is a conventional laser module that emits an infrared laser diode with a wavelength of 808nm and turns it into green by crystal. This is actually a very inefficient way of producing a laser beam as there is significant power loss.

For Direct Green Laser Module, the semiconductor laser itself emits directly. The stability of the laser output is greatly improved since there is no additional crystal.
