- WHAT DOES IT DO? Install it behind your momentary (push-button) wall switch for Z-Wave wireless control and dimming. Use it behind a simple on/off switch for basic on/off control and adjust brightness from your smart home app.
- WHAT ELSE DO I NEED? Check for NEUTRAL wire in the switch box (VERY IMPORTANT). Make sure your wall switch is not a dimmer. You'll need a Z-Wave hub for wireless control. Dimming and on/off will work on any Z-Wave hub (NOT Z-Wave alarm panel though) but you'll need a compatible hub for advanced features (scroll down for details). Alexa / Google Home is NOT a Z-Wave hub.
- WHY NOT GET A WALL DIMMER? Keep your favorite color and style on the wall switch you already have. Don't worry about flickering and LED bulb incompatibility - this dimmer works with almost any low-voltage dimmable bulb.
- HOW IS IT BETTER? It's made in Italy from high-quality components for extra durability. It's customizable with features like double tap for full brightness, adjustable ramp rate, or built-in timer (your hub needs to support configuration parameters). You can also get temperature reports from the location of the dimmer if you buy the Qubino temperature sensor (sold separately, look for ZMNHEA1).
