Radiation Alert CHARGER Pen Dosimeter Charger, No Batteries Required

The Radiation Alert Charger is a hand-held device that charges pen dosimeters, which detect potentially harmful ionizing radiation in gamma ray and x-ray exposure. A spring-loaded, adjustable and self-locking clamp holds the dosimeter in place. Power is provided by an internal 15,000-volt piezoelectric generator, allowing the charger to operate without batteries or electricity. A simple squeeze and release lever on the charger powers the dosimeter, and a discharge bulb flash indicates operation. Metal portions of the charger are stainless steel for durability. The Radiation Alert Charger cannot be returned.
