“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.â€
Here in Isaiah 28:10 we’re counseled to examine all that Scripture has to say on any given topic for we do not want to base our theories, concepts, or doctrine on a Scripture verse or two that is pulled from context. In these few pages Steve Wohlberg exposes the fables touted by many spiritual leaders regarding the rapture and seven-year tribulation philosophies.
The verses that are the most used by these spiritual leaders are the focus of this short study, including 1 Thessalonians 4:17; Matthew 24:40; and 1 Corinthians 15:52. Following the discussion of these verses, Mr. Wohlberg carefully examines the biblical realities surrounding the seventieth week of the seventy-week prophecy found in Daniel 9:27.
Satan hates God so much that he has a counterfeit for everything that God does, including the Christ’s bright and boisterous coming in the clouds of glory! Since he really cannot compete on that scale, he’s gone underground to enshroud the event in darkness and mystery. Jesus knew of Satan’s deceptive plots and warned us in Matthew 24:26 and 27 that we would be tempted to believe that His coming would be secret.
Point by point, study the Scriptures along with the author, and walk from the shadows into the light of God’s truth.
