Shannon Sharpe is almost your average Police Detective, but she has an edge. That edge is called intuition and hers is wide open. The latest hunch, resulting in saving of the nephew of a serving State Senator, results in a new promotion to Detective and assignment: Major Case Squad. This is the elite of the elite department of Detectives and higher that perform all the most difficult assignments and cases, usually winning. They also investigate those cases that are deemed unusual, as in the paranormal. In this latest case, Shannon's intuition needs to be Razor Sharpe as the fate of mankind hangs in the balance.

Soon, she meets new people. Frank Lynch, who is really a billionaire Vampire and possible love interest although she only knows about the billionaire part. Keith Sinclair, who just happens to be a Gargoyle, but she's unaware of that also. Then, there is the group of interdimensional super cops that not only patrol other dimensions but fix problems associated with all the races of ancient folklore. The Enforcers, and they want Shannon on their side by hook or by crook. The only problem is they seem mentally challenged when it comes to revealing information to their new protÃ©gÃ©, which more than pisses her off.

Traveling off world by way paths, she experiences both wonders and tragedy she never knew existed, yet she never strays from the path of righteousness. Why? Because she is what the Enforcers call a Sensitive. Who knows what powers she will eventually bring to the table in defense of mankind. All they really suspect is that a true high-level sensitive might be capable of ANYTHING, which scares the hell out of them.

This is a story about a bad-ass woman with bad-ass friends, who kick ass and take names. But please, no publicity. The public is not ready!
