The research findings of Linus Pauling, twofold Nobel laureate, suggest that every human being on earth can easily enjoy this right - given the necessary political will.

Under appropriate and compatible conditions, animal organisms produce whatever amount of vitamin C they need. That is why they are hardly ever afflicted by disease. Humans have lost this capacity, exposing them to the risk of infection.

Pauling wondered if, by taking an appropriate dosage of vitamin C in relation to their body weight, humans might not attain the same level of health as animals. This dosage varies between 6 and 18g vitamin C per day. His own findings, as well as research projects all over the world, have since confirmed this hypothesis.

Half of the world's vitamin production goes into industrialized meat production, i.e. caged-animal farming.

Animals kept under appropriate, compatible conditions remain healthy. The caging of animals, on the other hand, fills us with shame and revulsion. Under such unnatural and painful restrictions, animals can only be kept alive by administering very high daily doses of vitamin C.

The maintenance of a state of health conforming to the highest attainable norms has been made possible by the daily intake of vitamins and minerals in high doses.

Vitamin C not only protects organisms against infections, but also plays a supporting, if not decisive role in curing serious diseases.

By living according to Linus Pauling's findings, people can improve their enjoyment and quality of life and reduce the dread associated with the idea of dying.
