This Augustus of Prima Porta bronze finish Augustus Ceasar statue measures 11.5 in. high, 5.75 in. long, 5 in. wide. It is expertly cast in resin in striking intricately sculpted detail and has a beautiful bronze finish with tints of red, blue and green on his draped Paludamentum or cloth of the commander. Based on the marble statue discovered in 1863 in the Villa of Livia at Prima Porta and depicts Augustus in his imperator role. The reliefs on his armor depict the retrieval of Crassus' standards captured by the Parthians, which he served as an intermediary with the Parthian king.
