Pickup bed extras: gas cans, tool box and rollover bar with lights
The Jeep pickup truck was based on the famous Jeep Wagoneer. It was initially referred to as the Gladiator and was in production from 1962 to 1988. The Honcho was a trim package offered on the base J10 model. It was part of a series of special packages offered in the 1970s and 80s. The original Gladiator truck was the basis of the first post war U.S. Army truck. Designed to be a civilian vehicle, it was then adapted for military use. The basic engine in the Honcho was a 258 c.i. six cylinder engine with an available option of the AMC 401 c.i. V8, rated at 225 hp. Both engines used the Quadra Trac drive system and were known to be strong and reliable.
