Officially licensed by Boy Scouts of America, the Revell Basic Racer simplifies initial stages of custom pine car derby racer design by providing a basic wooden block, sized to meet Boy Scouts of America race-legal regulations, with axle slots already pre-cut to Pinewood Derby official specs.

Use the Basic Racer as your starting point, draw your custom design onto the block - then cut, shape and smooth. Add approved Pinewood Derby wheels, axles, weights, paint and decals (all sold separately) to your design for a customized winning look.
