This smoked paprika is made from ground Capsicum peppers in South-West Spain. Made by traditional methods using a drying process with the smoke produced from an oak fire. This method was originated by 15th century monks and still used to this day. The region of La Vera is renowned for this product and has it's own Denomination of Origin as a guarentee of it's authenticity and quality.
