Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1983 album from the Soul/R&B duo. Rise was their third album release on Capitol Records and is full of classic sounding '80s Soul and reached the #33 position in the US R&B charts shortly after it's release. Before teaming up to form the duo that released four albums between 1980 and 1986, Rene had played with Brothers Johnson and Angela had been providing backup vocals for the likes of Dolly Parton and Stevie Wonder. As well as being successful recording acts in their own right they were also talented producers working with the likes of Janet Jackson and the Isley Brothers. BBR.
