Legendary rhythm and blues pianist Huey Smith enjoyed the most successful spell of his career with Ace Records, turning out a succession of hits whilst with the label. His biggest hit came with Rockin' Pneimonia And The Boogie Woogie Flu, a million selling single that also hit #5 on the R&B chart and also made a brief appearance on the pop listings. The success of the single pushed Huey Smith to the forefront of New Orleans R&B, a position he held for many years.
