Rockwood 614V.26D Brass Door Knocker with Door Viewer, 2-1/8" Width x 3" Height, Satin Chrome Plated Finish

The Rockwood 614V.26D cast brass door knocker has a built-in door viewer and a satin chrome plated finish (Rockwood/BHSM number US26D/626). There is a space for engraving a name or number. The knocker with viewer meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A156.16: L03161 specifications. It measures 3" high x 2-1/8" wide x 0.45" thick, and it includes two #8-32 x 2" flathead machine screws and two #8 finish washers for attaching the knocker to standard 1-3/4" thick doors.

A door knocker is a metal plate with a metal ring or hammer that attaches to the outside of a door to facilitate knocking. A door viewer, commonly called a peephole, consists of a metal cylinder and a glass lens. It is inserted in a hole in a door to allow one to see out of the closed door while preventing those outside from seeing in.
