Rode SmartLav+ Lavalier Microphone SC3 TRRS to TRS Adaptor

Rode’s smartLav+ is a wearable microphone designed to record broadcast-quality audio for use in film, television, radio or any other situation where high quality audio is required. The smartLav+’s small size and built-in cable management makes it ideal for on-camera interviews where it can be worn discreetly while still picking up everything your subject says. The smartLav’s microphone is an omni-directional condenser capsule that picks up sound coming from every direction making it very versatile and extremely user-friendly. There’s also a pop shield included to reduce wind noise and plosives like hard “B”, “T”, and “P” sounds. The smartLav+ is compatible with any audio recording app the accepts input from the 3.5mm headphone jack or a smartphone or tablet, but it’s designed to specifically with the Rode Rec app for Apple iOS devices.

The included pop filter ensures the audio you get will be free of wind noise and vocal plosives such as hard “P” sounds, too.

The SC3 is a high-quality shielded adaptor, designed to allow the smartLav to connect to 3.5mm TRS devices such as cameras and audio recorders. The gold-plated contacts are colour coded, with grey indicating the TRRS input.
