Savannah socialite, Sarah McIntosh, is used to getting her way. She is young, rich, beautiful, and has a line of suitors a mile long. It's no surprise that she pitches a fit when her father arranges her marriage to Bernard Hughes, the "odd looking" son of the richest man in town. Sarah looks to Heaven for a sign, and her eyes stumble upon an advert for a mail order bride for a rancher out west. Rather than give in to her father's plans, Sarah packs a bag, boards the train, and heads off on the adventure of a lifetime.
What Sarah doesn't know is that rancher Jess Johnson didn't place the ad for a new bride for himself and a mother for his children. He doesn't want to replace his dead wife. He just wants to be left alone.
Who placed the ad on Jess' behalf? And what will Sarah do when she travels cross country only to find out that love may not be at the end of the line?
